FIFA Opens First Africa Office in Morocco, Marking a Big Step for the Continent

Rabat, Morocco —In a historic move aimed at strengthening football across Africa, FIFA has officially launched its first regional office on the continent. The new hub, located in Rabat, Morocco, is expected to bring the global football body closer to African nations and help accelerate the growth of the sport across the region.

The launch took place on August 2, 2025, and featured top officials from FIFA, CAF (the Confederation of African Football), and representatives from several African football federations.
